At the beginning of 2003, I started training at Plumpton College as a
florist, where I gained the City & Guilds National Certificate
in May 2004.
With my passion for
flowers and design, I set up a workshop and Fuchsia Flower Design was born during the summer of 2004. Since then, I've
been building the business providing wedding and event flowers to individuals and businesses in and around Brighton.

My very first commission was for a former work colleague, who got married in
the beautiful De Morgan Museum in Wandsworth. The November frosts were thawed by sumptuous warm winter tones of red. The
bride chose a hand-tied bouquet of burgundy Callas, intertwined with grasses and wax flowers.
The first 'real'
job was daunting and working for a friend didn't make it any easier! Despite 'first night jitters' everyone loved
the flowers and it was plain sailing there on in!
A SPLASH OF INDIVIDUALITY
I've extended my portfolio to include some more great wedding designs
and I'm constantly building it to include corporate and event flowers for businesses in the local area throughout the
year, including restaurants, event management companies, and festive decorations such as door wreaths and garlands.
